Homework

The homework at Manor Leas Junior Academy is focused on developing basic skills whilst also informing parents/carers about the learning taking place in classrooms. The clear homework framework, explained in the policy, is designed primarily to support the children's progress in reading and maths (with a particular focus on fluency). We appreciate the busy lives of parents/carers and the need for children to have time to decompress after a busy day of learning. As such we have made the expectations manageable and impactful.
